1000 series SPILLWAY HEADWALL

A one-piece reinforced concrete headwall for pipes up to 900mm diameter. Three standard versions are available with wing walls at differing batter angles. Frimeda lift points are cast in.
Various types of heavy duty galvanised steel gratings or stainless steel gratings can be supplied which are bolted to the stainless steel sockets cast in. Brackets available for use with the ground anchor system. Provision can be made for fixing tidal flaps and penstocks etc. Made to order to suit the diameter and position of the pipes being used.

Installation

It is recommended that the unit should be bedded on 100mm of dry mix concrete. The drainage pipe to be entered through approximately 50mm unless fitted with flap valve and the gap around the pipe to be filled with cement mortar. Care must be taken when lifting precast headwalls, please read the HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS.
