2000 series SPILLWAY HEADWALL

A two-piece reinforced concrete headwall for pipes over 1000mm diameter up to 2000mm diameter. Three standard versions are available with wing walls at differing batter angles. Frimeda lift points are cast in.
IMPORTANT NOTE: HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Various types of heavy duty galvanized steel gratings or stainless steel gratings can be supplied which are bolted to the stainless steel sockets cast in. Brackets available for use with the ground anchor system. Provision can be made forfixing tidal flaps and penstocks etc. An extension section can be provided to increase the overall height. Made to order to suit the diameter and position of the pipes being used.

Installation

It is recommended that the unit should be bedded on 100mm of dry mix concrete. The drainage pipe to be entered through approximately 50mm unless fitted with flap valve and the gap around the pipe to be filled with cement mortar.

Ground Anchor

Where site conditions dictate, cables may be attached to the rear face of the headwall and tensioned to galvanized steel anchors buried a distance away to each side of the pipe.
