Environmental Statement

Here at JKH we are an environmentally conscientious company, and we are constantly striving to reduce our environmental impact. Using pre-cast concrete units means using less concrete and time to install versus traditional casting on site procedures. Our concrete is made in small batches to reduce waste, and we use self levelling admixtures, eliminating the need for power hungry vibrating tables. What waste we do produce is recycled as hardcore. All our lorries are fitted with economical diesel engines, and we combine efficient journey planning with calling ahead to sites to reduce the number of journeys and missed deliveries. In our office email is promoted over faxes to reduce paper wastage, with all quotes and information requests emailed if possible. All of our main suppliers are like minded and carry environmental statements.
