Headwall Custom Options

FOR MADE TO ORDER HEADWALLS

A range of custom options are available for the made to order pre-cast concrete headwalls. We can fit flow control devices from most manufacturers, including Aquatic Control Engineering, Express Valve Services, and Ham Baker. Fixing sockets are cast into the back-wall of the headwall to allow all devices to be removed for maintenance or replacement. Other custom options are available on request.

Ground Anchor

Where site conditions dictate, cables may be attached to the rear face of the headwall and tensioned to galvanized steel anchors buried a distance away to each side of the pipe.

Handrails

We can manufacture and fit high quality galvanised Kee Klamp handrails directly to most of our precast units. We have a standard range of designs available, but will accommodate custom designs on request. Headwalls with Kee Klamp Handrails

Flap Valves & Penstocks

We stock a range of KWT flap valves and penstocks from Aquatic Control Engineering Ltd, and we can cast the fixing points for these into our headwalls to reduce installation time on site. For details of the ranges available please visit ACE's website.

Tilting Gates

Tilting gates are used when you need to control the water level with a greater degree of control than is available with stop boards. We can fit tilting gates to concrete wall panels or headwalls and chambers.
